My name is Ian Walterson. I was brought up in Shetland from a very young age. I joined the British Army and completed 22 years of active service. After that, I worked for the United States Military in Iraq and Afghanistan for 6 years. I have gained a wealth of travel experience with both operational military tours and freelance travelling around the world. 

Valhalla Tours is a new, small tour business offering executive minivan and walking tours, or a combination of both. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and love to showcase our beautiful islands. The tours are mainly set up for cruise ship passengers here for just one day; holidaymakers to Shetland can extend the package for a few days, which is highly recommended.
